Josiah comes home

Friday we flew from Guangzhou to Tianjin . . . and truly, it is so great to be home.

We were warmly welcomed by our Tianjin friends, and came home to find our door decorated with signs welcoming Josiah . . .

And inside there were gifts for our little guy, and meals for all of us (with more to come!) which means that I might not need to cook for quite a while.  Awesome awesome.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of watching Josiah crawl through the apartment, exploring on all fours.  Incredible to watch him enter his room, play with his toys, and sit in the highchair that has been waiting for him for these many months.  He warmed up quickly, and I spent most of the day enjoying him do so.  Wonderful to sit back and take it all in.  He’s here.  He’s ours.  We’re home.

We are so happy for you all and are enjoying seeing how our father is blessing you as he has given you these wonderful children. May he continue to bless as you raise them in the knowledge of him and may he be pleased to adopt all of them as his own as well!
